Custom patches are made to order, so there is no single price. The good news is that only a handful of things move it, and once you know them you can get a lot more patch for your budget.

1. The patch style

Each technique uses different materials and machines. Embroidered, woven, PVC, chenille, leather and printed patches are all priced differently because they are made differently.

2. Size

A bigger patch uses more material and more machine time. A cap patch and a jacket back patch can share a design but not a price.

3. Coverage

For embroidered patches, coverage is how much of the patch is stitched with thread: 50%, 75% or 100%. More coverage means more thread and more machine time, which is why the price moves with it. You can see what each level looks like on our rush order page.

4. Quantity

Bigger runs bring the price per patch down. There is no minimum order, so you can order a single patch, but if you will need more later, ordering together usually costs less per piece.

5. Backing and edge

Sew-on, iron-on, velcro and adhesive backings, and merrowed, laser-cut or hot-cut edges, all suit different uses. Tell us where the patch is going and we will suggest the right one.

Is there a minimum order?

No. We make orders as small as a single patch, as well as bulk orders.

Do proofs or changes cost extra?

No. Proofs are free and revisable, and you can change or cancel at no cost any time before you approve your proof.

When do I pay?

We confirm the final total and production details with you before anything is made. Payments go through an encrypted, PCI-compliant checkout. On rush orders, you pay once your patch is made.

Are there extra costs for international orders?

Prices are in USD. International customers pay any customs duties or import taxes charged by their country; those are not part of our shipping cost.
